ECO2school (ECO to school)
Goal: Provide young people with tools, training, and support to think creatively and to successfull implement solution-based projects that address climate change through actions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions while promoting long-term personal and community environmental action.
Strategies: Provide high quality Climate Literacy Education that supports teachers and helps student make the connection between personal behavior and environmental impacts. Provide student leader with tools and training to implement on-campus activities that encourage active transportation and low carbon commutes.

Short Term Outcomes
- Increased teen participation in transportation sustainability event
- Increased number of youth board members working in the community on support events
- Increased number of student leaders working on alternative transportation projects on their school campus
- Increase in number of students using active transportation to get to school
- Reduced transportation related carbon dioxide emissions
- Decreased vehicle miles traveled related to school commutes
Long Term Outcomes
- Decreased emissions from teen play a significant role in helping Sonoma County and California meet its vehicle emission goal
- Teens live in ways that are healthier for themselves, their community, and the plane
- Walking and biking become a normative behavior for getting to and from schoo
- Youth leaders enter college and career pathways with a climate-centric focus
