Healthy Earth, Healthy Bodies

Healthy Earth, Healthy Bodies is an elementary school field trip program run by Sonoma County Regional Parks which focuses on connecting students with where their food comes from and how that affects both their own health and the health of the environment. Field trips provide the opportunity for learning in context, showcasing the value of parks in the community. Each Healthy Earth, Healthy Bodies field trip includes rotating in small groups through a thematic hike, visit with the farm animals, activities in the garden, and a science lesson on a relevant topic based on grade-level California State Science and Health Standards.
