Sonoma County 4-H Positive Youth Development
Sonoma County 4-H uses the Positive Youth Development model to help participants develop competence, confidence, character, connection and caring. The strategy focuses on three key areas:
- Positive and sustained relationships between youth and adults;
- Activities that build important life skills;
- Opportunities for youth to use these skills as participants and leaders in valued community activities.
