Thp Plus

Thp Plus will serve to meet the goals on the Transitional Independent Living Plan (Tlp), through coordination of Independent Living Plan (Ilp) services with the youth’s Ilp coordinator and other community and public partners in order to facilitate successful transitioning of former foster youth to independent living, and reduce incidents of homelessness, incarceration, and unplanned pregnancy among former foster youth.

Short Term Outcomes

  • Participants exit the program with a higher level of educational attainment than at entrance
  • Participants exit the program with a job
  • Participants exit the program earning a higher wage than at entrance
  • Participants exit the program with bank accounts and knowledge of financial management
